Tucked away in the quiet of Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland, I’m inviting you to Woolcott Cottage for something a little special—a chance to slow down and capture your family’s story, just as it is.
Winter - Think crackling fires, chunky knits, warm cuppas, boots by the door, and little hands wrapped in yours. These sessions aren’t about stiff poses or matching outfits—they’re about real moments. Laughter bouncing off old wooden floorboards, golden light drifting through the windows, and slow wanders through the cottage garden, gently dozing through the last days of winter.
The sessions will be held during the last weekend of Winter, on the 30th of August, 2025. The sessions are about holding onto the magic of now—in all its messy, lovely, heart-full beauty.

Woolcott Cottage...
Built in 1921 by her father, Woolcott Cottage was a wedding gift for Helene Manitzky and her new husband William Woolcott; built in the picturesque town of Mt Tamborine. The newlyweds settled into the lovingly handcrafted cottage to start their life together, however, William was sent to World War II shortly after.
Helene stayed behind and ran the family farm, becoming the first of a century of women to own and operate the cottage. Purchased in 2022, Woolcott cottage was lovingly renovated and renamed to honour its original occupants.

– A viewing gallery of 40+ images in colour, black & white, and filmic tones
– 10 high-res digital images of your choice to download
– A thoughtful questionnaire so I can tailor the session to your family
– A prep guide for the session, with bonus information on what to do in Mt Tamborine, because the whole experience matters
Optional extras:
– Petite family film – $95 (a little moving memory to keep)
– Full gallery upgrade – $125 (because sometimes choosing just 10 is impossible)
– Option to book a back-to-back session (60 minutes), with 30 images included. - $650
